Production Enhancement

• Corrosion Inhibition
  • The ENERCEPT® line of corrosion inhibitors is formulated to combat corrosion in taxing environments such as high shear, high acid gas content, high solids and extreme temperatures.
• H₂S Scavengers
  • Designed for hydrogen sulfide removal, the Sulfa-Check^® line of chemicals eliminates from the gas stream in continuous-injection applications. Downhole application of Sulfa-Check through a cap string is very effective in eliminating H₂S at the wellhead and throughout the surface facilities.
• Biocides
  • Nalco offers a complete line of non-oxidizing biocides designed to control bacterial growth downhole. Included are fast-acting products that are readily degraded to inactive, harmless by-products.

• Scale inhibitors
  • Wherever water is present in your field, the potential for mineral scale formation is also present. Carbonate, sulfate and sulfide mineral scales can form near wellbore, production tubing and topside processing equipment. Nalco offers a comprehensive scale management program combines with unique chemical scale inhibitors. All can be injected via capillary string to prevent scale deposition on downhole submersible pumps, preventing costly maintenance.
• Paraffin Control
  • Nalco paraffin inhibitors reduce formation of paraffin crystals in crude oil, and lower the pour point by modifying the wax crystalline structures present in paraffinic crude oils. Prevention of paraffin deposits on downhole and surface equipment reduces maintenance costs and improves flow capabilities.

  • Nalco asphaltene inhibitors reduce problems related to asphaltene deposition on flowlines, tubing and other production equipment.
